October = Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Not only are our students trying hard in Math, but they are also learning skills for life. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and my mother was on the cover of The Advocate, which is what they are reading in the pictures.

http://www.print2webcorp.com/news/BatonRouge/PinkMatters/20101001/p09.asp

She is a 2 time Breast Cancer Survivor, who is currently undergoing chemo. The students read the articles then decided to make cards for the women that were going through chemo with my mother.

I am very proud of all my kids, and they inspire me every day!! They are making a difference in this community and that is something to CELEBRATE!!

Hello Parents and Students!!

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year.

I am delighted to be teaching your children this year and look forward to speaking with you all soon.

This website is dedicated to providing parents and students with resources for Math.

Tuesday - Homework
Wednesday - Homework
Thursday - Homework & Study for Friday Quiz
Friday- Quiz in class! Same quiz sent home for them to retake and find their mistakes

“The essence of our effort to see that every child has a chance must be to assure each an equal opportunity, not to become equal, but to become different - to realize whatever unique potential of body, mind and spirit he or she possesses”
